TOM MORTON-SMITH is an Olivier Award winning playwright and screenwriter whose work has been performed extensively across the UK and in London's West End. His adaptation of the classic Studio Ghibli animation, My Neighbour Totoro, broke box office records during its initial run at the Barbican Theatre and is currently running at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, London. His 2015 play, Oppenheimer, opened at the Swan Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, before transferring to the Vaudeville Theatre, London.

PIPPA HILL is a dramaturg, producer and writer who headed up the Royal Shakespeare Company's new work department from 2017 to 2024, overseeing the company's entire slate of new plays, adaptations and translations. During that time she commissioned and developed stage adaptations of Maggie O'Farrell's Hamnet (by Lolita Chakrabarti) and Hayao Miyazaki's My Neighbour Totoro (by Tom Morton-Smith). She is a trustee of Theatre503 and the former literary manager of Paines Plough.

This has included the Bridge theatre's acclaimed production of Guys and Dolls, the ambitious international cultural project The Walk, six years as Lead Producer for the Royal Shakespeare Company, and eight years as Executive Director of the Young Vic.
